What is a Barista?

A Barista in a specialist in preparing coffee drinks who is in charge of every step of the coffee-making process, from selecting the beans to developing new recipes and serving the perfect cup. They are regarded as the masters of the art of coffee.

Preparing the perfect cup of coffee is a more elaborate job than it actually seems. It requires knowledge, skill and expertise. A Barista can appreciate subtle nuances of flavour and aroma, amongst others. Being coffee artists, Baristas are passionate about coffee.
